Job Role:

Deliver pre-school education to children aged 3-6 years.
Provide immunizations, health checkups, and nutritional support to children and pregnant women.

Job Location:

Asansol (Urban) ICDS Project, within the jurisdiction of Asansol Municipal Corporation, comprising Wards 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 76, 77, 80, 84, 85, and 86.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 18-35 years as on the date of notification (21/08/2024) for all categories.
Education: Minimum Class XII (or equivalent) passed from a recognized Board/Council.
Residence: Permanent resident of Asansol (Urban) ICDS Project within the jurisdiction of Asansol Municipal Corporation (mentioned Wards). Proof of residence documents like Voter ID Card (EPIC) and Residential Certificate issued by the concerned authority are required.
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.

Selection Process:

1. Written Exam (90 marks):

o Essay on Mother and Child Health (15 marks)

o Arithmetic (20 marks)

o Nutrition, Public Health, Status of Women, State Nutrition Policies & Vaccination (15 marks)

o English Language (understanding and basic knowledge) (20 marks)

o General Knowledge (20 marks)

2. Viva-voce (no qualifying marks):

Marks obtained in the written exam and viva-voce will be considered for merit list preparation. In case of a tie, seniority of age will be considered.

Salary/Pay Scale:

Honorarium of Rs. 4500/- per month + Additional Honorarium of Rs. 4500/- per month as per existing Govt. norms. (Selected candidates will not be considered as Govt. employees)
