The SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 Notification has been released for 2006 vacancies. You can apply online via ss.c.gov.in starting from 26th July 2024. The online application window will be open from 26th July 2024 to 24th August 2024. The Stenographer Grade ‘c’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2024 will take place between October and November 2024. This exam aims to fill positions for Stenographer Grade-C (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D(Group C) in various ministries, departments, and organizations under the Government of India. Vacancy:
There are around 2006 job openings for the
Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ positions at the Staff
Selection Commission (SSC).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the SSC Stenographer exam in 2024,
candidates need to have completed their 12th grade (or an equivalent
exam) from a recognized Board or University by the cut-off date, which is 17TH
August 2024.
Age Limit:
The age limit for SSC Stenographer Grade C is between
18 to 30 years, meaning candidates must have been born not before 02/08/1994
and not later than 01/08/2006 to be eligible. For Stenographer Grade D, the age
limit is between 18 to 27 years, which means candidates must have been born not
before 02/08/1997 and not late than 01/08/2006 to apply. There is an upper age
relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PWD
candidates.
Selection System:
SSC Stenographer Selection System for 2024 includes an
Online Examination (Computer Based), Stenography Skill Test, and Document
Verification.
Salary:
The salary for SSC Stenographer varies based on the
grade wise. For Grade C, the pay scale along with grade pay is Rs.4200/- to
4600 /-(pre-revised). For Grade D, the pay scale along with grade pay is
Rs.2400/-
Application Fees:
The application fee for SSC Stenographer 2024 is
Rs.100/- for General/OBC candidates. There is no fee for SC, ST, PWD, ESM, and
all women candidates. You can pay the fee online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking,
or Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or Rupay Debit cards.
How to Apply:
To apply for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024,
eligible candidates need to go to the official SSC website ssc.gov.in and click
on the ‘Apply’ button in the Quick Links section. Then, choose ‘Stenographer
Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2024 and click on ‘Apply’. Log in with your User Name
(Registration Number) and Password. If you're a new user, click on ‘Register Now’
to complete the registration process. Fill in your details, upload required
documents, and submit your application before the deadline on 17/08/2024 at 11:00PM.
