announced the release of the highly anticipated RRB JE Recruitment Notification

Metallurgical Assistant(CMA), and Chemical Supervisor/Research and

Vacancy:
The Railway Recruitment Board has just released the
official notification for the Junior Engineer(JE) Recruitment with a total of
7951 vacancies.
Eligibility:
For the Junior Engineer position, candidates need to
have a 3-years Diploma in Engineering or a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or related engineering fields. For the CMA
role, a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Physics is required. As for the Chemical
and Metallurgical Supervisor, applicants must hold a degree or equivalent in
Chemical Technology or Metallurgical Engineering, and having knowledge of a
computer programming language is necessary.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not loder
than 36 years as of 1ST January 2025. There are age relaxation
available-3years for OBC-NCL, 5Years for SC/ST, and an additional 10 years for
persons with disabilities(PWBD).
Salary:
The RRB JE salary for 2024 varies depending on the
post. Junior Engineer( JE), DMS, and CMA posts are at Level 6 with an initial
pay of Rs.35400/- per month , while Chemical Supervisor posts are at Level7
with and initial pay of Rs.44900/- per month.
Selection System:
The selection system for RRB JE in 2024 will consist
of a first stage Computer Based Test(CBT), followed by a second stage CBT, and
then Document Verification or a Medical Examination if needed. Candidates will
be chosen solely based on their performance in the CBTS. The Railway
Recruitment Board(RRB) will announce the schedule, including the date, time,
and location for all events, such as the CBTS and Document Verification , to
the venue, date, or shift will be accepted under any circumstances.

Application fee:
The application fee for General (Unreserved) and OBC
candidates is Rs. 500/-. For SC,ST, Ex-Servicemen, women, minorities, or EBC
candidates, the fee is Rs. 250/-. Payments can be made online.
How to Apply:
To apply for the RRB JE Recruitment2024, interested
candidates need to go to the Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) Apply Online portal
at www.rrbapply.gov.in and fill out
just one online application. First, candidates must create an account for the
Centralized Employment Notice(CEN)using the link on the official RRB website.
Its important to have a personal mobile number and a valid email address to
receive OTPs for verifying and creating the account. After successfully setting
up the account , candidates can log in
to apply for RRB JE Recruitment2024 through any RRB portal starting form 30th
July 2024. They will also need to upload scanned copies of the necessary
documents, which include—
- A recent color photograph
- Signature
- Community certificate include(SC/ST)
- Any other required documents or certificates.
