Central Railway Recruitment of 2024, for
2424 vacancy’s (apprentice position)
The Central Railway Has released a recruitment notice
for 2424 apprentice positions across Mumbai, Pune, Bhusawal, Nagpur, and Solapur.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the Railway
Recruitment Cell (RRC) Central Railways official website-www.rrccr.com,
starting from 16th July 2024. This recruitment is aimed at hiring
Act Apprentices in different trades as per the Apprentices Act of 1961, with
placements in various workshops and units under its authority.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Central Railway Apprentice
program in 2024, you must have passed the 10th Class (Matric)
examination or its equivalent with at least 50% marks. Additionally , you
should have a National Trade Certificate/ ITI in the relevant trade issued by
the National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued
by the National Council for Vocational Training /State Council for Vocational
Training. As for the age limit, you should be at least 15 years old and not
older than 24 years as of 15/07/2024. There is an upper age relaxation of 5
years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Posting Trade:
Central Railway is offering apprentice positions for
various trades including Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Tailor,
Electrician, Programming & Systems Administration Assistant, Diesel
Mechanic, Turner, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant,
Electronic Mechanic, Machine Tools Maintenance Mechanic, Computer Operator
& Programming Assistant, and Information Technology & Electronic System
Maintenance, among others.
Selection System:
Candidates will be selected based on a merit list that
includes the percentage of marks in matriculation (with at least 50% aggregate
marks) and ITI marks in the relevant trade for the Apprenticeship. The final
decision will be made by calculating the simple average of marks in both
matriculation and ITI.
Salary/Stipend:
The salary for Central Railway Apprentice is Rs.7000/-
per month for those holding a National or State Certificate.
Application Fees:
Central Railway Apprentice Application Fee for 2024 is
Rs.100/-(it is not refundable). You can pay the fee online through debit card ,
credit card, Internet Banking, SBI Challan, etc.
How to Apply:
To apply for the Central Railway Apprentice
Recruitment of 2024, candidates must visit the official website of RRC Central
Railway at rrccr.com and fill out the online application form. It is mandatory
for candidates to have an Aadhaar Card, and they must provide their 12-digit
Aadhaar Card number during registration. Additionally, candidates need to
upload a color Photograph, signature, birth certificate , caste certificate,
and copies of their qualification marks.
