to 56/2024, Bihar Public Service Commission BPSC, Patna is looking for
eligible Indian candidates to fill 1339 Assistant Professor Positions in
different Departments of State Medical College and Hospitals. Interested

Eligibility:
- To be eligible for the BPSC Assistant Professor position in 2024, you must have an MBBS degree.
- Another requirement is to have an M.D., D.N.B. or DA in a relevant medical specialty.
- Additionally, candidates should have experience in the relevant field.
Age limit:
The age limit for BPSC Assistant Professor in 2024
varies for different categories . For UR(Male) candidates, the age limit is 45
years, while for UR Female , Backward Class & Extremely BC candidates, it
is 48 years. SC/ST candidates, both male and female , have an age limit of 50
years. Doctors currently working in Bihar State also have an age limit of 50
years. Remember, the upper age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Salary:
The salary for BPSC Assistant Professors is in the pay
scale of Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- with a grade pay of Rs.6600 in pay Level-11.
Application Fees:
BPSC Assistant Professor Application Fee in 2024 of
the general category candidates need to pay Rs.100/-. Biometric fee is Rs.200/-.
Reserved category candidates in Bihar only need to pay Rs.25/-. The payment
method is through online mode.
