Eligibility:
SSC MTS 2024 is a great opportunity for individuals
who have completed their 10th grade education. This exam offers two
main positions, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar. To be eligible for the
position of Multi Tasking Staff, you must have passed your 10th
grade and be between the ages of 18 to 25. This means that you should have been
born between 02/08/1999 and 01/08/2006. On the other hand, if you are
interested in the position of Havaldar, you also need to have passed your 10th
grade but can be between the ages of 18 to 27. For this position, your birth
date should fall between 02/08/1997 and 01/08/2006. Make sure to check your
eligibility and prepare well for the exam!
Application Fees:
For the SSC MTS 2024 exam, candidates are required to
pay an application fee of Rs.100/-. This fee can be conveniently paid online
through various modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards, BHIM, UPI, and
more. However, there are certain categories of candidates who are exempted from
paying the application fee. These include candidates belonging to
SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen categories and all female candidates. They do not need
to pay any fee for the application process. So , if you fall under any of these
categories, you can proceed with your application without worrying about the
payment.
Selection Process:
The process of selecting candidates for SSC MTS 2024
consists of two main stages. The initial stage is Paper-1, which is an online
exam with multiple-choice questions. The second stage, specifically for the
position of Havaldar, includes a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical
Standard Test(PST). To be considered for further evaluation, candidates need to
achieve marks higher than the cut-off in both stages.

To register for the SSC MTS 2024 exam, candidates must
go to the official SSC website at www.ssc.gov.in. The application process
started on 27th June,2024, and will be open until 31st
July, 2024. Candidates have to press the “Apply” button on the home page,
choose the ‘SSC Multitasking Staff Exam 2024’ link, and finish the registration
process.
