Qualification:
Candidates applying for the Assistant Professor
position should have a Post Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum
of 55% marks. They must have successfully cleared the National Eligibility Test
(NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR. Alternatively, candidates who have
taken a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET, are also
eligible. Additionally, individuals who hold or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree
in accordance with the University Grants Commission meet the eligibility
criteria.
MTS/LDC post for Bachelors Degree.
Application fees:
UR/OBC Category applicants for teaching posts are
required to pay Rs.-1000/-as the application fee. Non-teaching post applicants,
on the other hand, need to pay Rs.500/-. The fee should be paid through a
Demand Draft only. Please make sure to write the Name of the Post Applied for
your name, and your fathers name on the back of the Demand Draft. However,
candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category or those who are employees of
Vasanta College for Women, Varanasi, are exempted from paying the application
fee. Just make sure to attach the required certificate with the application
form.
How to Apply:
To apply, eligible candidates must fill out the
prescribed application form. They should then submit the completed application
along with self-attested copies of relevant documents, certificates, mark
sheets, and other testimonials. Additionally, applicants must include the application
fee. All of these materials should be sent to The Manager, Vasanta College for
Women, Rajghat Fort, Varanasi, 221001. The deadline for submission is 30 days
from the date of the advertisement in Employment News. Please send the
application through Registered Post, Speed Post, or Courier only. Job
advertisement in the Employment News Paper dated 4th May 2024 and
dead line for receiving applications is 2nd June,2024.
