“The UPSC CAPF(ACs) Recruitment of 2024, Notification has been released for 506 Assistant Commandants. You can apply online today.”
The UPSC CAPF AC 2024 recruitment notice is out for
hiring 506 Assistant Commandants in different Central Armed Police Forces like
BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and more. Those who qualify can apply online on the
UPSC website from 24th April,2024. The selection process includes a
written exam with Paper I and Paper II, then Physical Standards/Physical
Efficiency Tests, Medical Exam, and an Interview/Personality Test. The final
list is based on a total of 600 marks from all evaluation stages.
Vacancies:
The UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandants (Group-A)
recruitment notice has declared the availability of positions in different
Central Armed Police Forces. Here are the vacancies for each post-----
1. Assistant Commandants (Group –A) in Border Security
Force (BSF)-186 vacancies.
2. Assistant Commandants ( Group-A) in Central Reserve
Police Force(CRPF)-120 vacancies.
3. Assistant Commandants ( Group-A) in Central
Industrial Security Force (CISF)-100 vacancies.
4. Assistant Commandants (Group –A) in Indo-Tibetan
Border Police(ITBP)-58 vacancies.
5. Assistant Commandants (Group –A) in Sashastra Seema
Bal(SSB)-42 vacancies.
Eligibility:
To apply for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant exam,
you need to have a Bachelors degree from a recognized university or institution.
You should also be between 20 and 25 years old by 1st August 2024.
However there are some exceptions for certain categories.
Application Fees:
The fee for applying to become a UPSC CAPF Assistant
Commandant is Rs.200 for general category candidates. You can pay this fee
using online banking, credit/debit card or by depositing cash at specific
branches of the State Bank of India. But good news for female candidates and
those belonging to SC/ST categories, you don’t have to pay any application fee
at all.
Selection Process:
The way they choose people for UPSC CAPF Assistant
Commandant is like this, First there’s a written test with two papers , Paper I
and Paper II, that happens on the same day. After that the candidates have to
do Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and then a Medical Examination.
If they pass all that they get to do an Interview/Personality Test. The final
list of who gets in is made by adding up all the marks from every stage of the
process and its out of 600 marks.
*Candidates have to pass a written exam first.
*After passing the written exam, candidates have to go
through physical standards and efficiency tests.
*Those who pass the physical tests will then have a
medical examination.
*Successful candidates will be invited for an
interview or personality test.
How to Apply:
To apply you have to go to the UPSC website and click
on the link they give you for the online application. But before you fill out
the form you have to sign up on the one time Registration platform. This is
something you only have to do once and you can do it whenever you want. Once you’re
registered you can start filling out the application form. Just make sure to
read and follow all the instructions so you finish everything on time.
