The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is looking to fill up 5 ex-Cadre posts of Accounts Officer and 7 Accountant positions in various Regional Offices. This is your chance to be a part of a dynamic team and contribute to the nation's development. Details eligibility criteria given below: 

Vacancy Details:

1. Accounts Officer: 

05 (FIVE) positions available, 1 position each in the following Regional Offices:

1. SSC(NR), New Delhi
2. SSC(CR), Prayagraj
3. SSC(WR), Mumbai
4. SSC(ER), Kolkata
5. SSC(NER), Guwahati

2.  Accountant:

07(SEVEN) positions available, 1 position each in the following Regional Offices:

1. SSC(NWR), Chandigarh
2. SSC(MPR), Raipur
3. SSC(WR), Mumbai
4. SSC(ER), Kolkata
5. SSC(NER), Guwahati
6. SSC(SR), Chennai
7. SSC(KKR), Bengaluru

Eligibility Criteria:

For SSC recruitment Accounts Officer:

Qualification / Requirements:

Officers under the Central Government, Group B, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or with 5 years' service in the grade after appointment on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 44,900/- – Rs. 1,42,400/- 

Desirable Qualifications:

• A pass in the SAS or equivalent examination conducted by any one of the Organized Accounts Departments of the Central Government

• Successful completion of training in Cash and Accounts Work in the ISTM or equivalent training course and a minimum of 3 years experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work

For SSC recruitment 2024 Accountant:

Qualification/Requirements:

• Officers under the Central Government, Group B, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Upper Division Clerks of CSCS with 10 Years' service in the grade and possess 8 Years' experience of Cash, Accounts, and Budget work
• Officers under the Central Govt. holding analogous posts, or SAS, Accounts, or SAS passed clerks from any of the Organized Accounts Departments

Pay Level: Level-6 (Old pay band: PBII Rs.9300-Rs.34800/- with the grade pay of Rs.4200/-)

Important Information SSC recruitment 2024 Accountant and Account Officer:

• The appointment will be made on deputation basis initially for a period of 3 years, extendable up to 7 years.
• The maximum age limit on deputation shall not exceed 56 years.
• Applications must be submitted in the prescribed pro-forma (Annexure-II) along with necessary documents.
• Applications should reach the SSC headquarters through proper channel within 2 months from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News.

• Applicants must ensure that their applications reach SSC(HQ) through proper channel by the specified deadline.
• An advance copy of the application may also be sent to SSC well before the deadline.
