RRC Group-D Notification out for Northern Railway
Recruitment cell. Northern Railway has opened up 38 vacancies for Indian sports
persons under Sports Quota for the year 2023-2024. To be eligible, applicants
must be between 18-25 years old and have at least a 10th pass
qualification. They should have meat specific sports standards in recognized
championships starting from 01/04/2021. The selection process includes
screening document verification, trails and assessment. Those selected will
have a two year probation period and a medical examination. The application fee
is Rs.500 for General category and Rs.250 for reserved categories with partial refund.

2023-2024. These positions are spread across various sports disciplines
offering a total of 38 vacancies in Level 1 of the Pay Matrix 7th

Eligibility:
Northern Railway is looking for candidates to fill
positions under the Sports Quota. To be eligible, you must have passed the 10th
grade or an equivalent exam. Remember the age limit for all positions is
between 18 to 25 years old.
Applying fees:
Candidates applying for RRC NR Group-D Sports
Recruitment from the General category have to pay Rs.500 as the application
fee, whereas SC/ST/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes candidates
only need to pay Rs.250, both of which will be refunded after the trials.
Selection System:
The RRC NR Group –D Sports Recruitment process is
quite comprehensive. First, applicants need to submit their applications
online. After that their documents are carefully reviewed and verified. Once
deemed eligible candidates are then put through trails and assessments to
assess their sports performance. Based on these evaluations a final merit list
is compiled. Lastly medical examinations are conducted to ensure that
candidates meet the necessary fitness standards.
How to Apply:
Candidates must fill out the online application form
on the official website within the given dates. They need to provide accurate details
and upload necessary documents such as proof of date of birth , educational
qualifications, sports achievements, caste certificate(if needed), and other
relevant certificates. Once the form is completed, candidates should make the
application fee payment online. After successful submission and payment,
candidates must print the application form and payment slip for future use. It
is important to follow the instructions carefully to ensure that the
application is complete and valid.
