Eligibility:
To be eligible for the
Maharashtra Police Bharti 2024, you must have passed the Matriculation (SSC) /
12th Class (HSC) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board / Institute
Silection System:
1. Candidates applying for
the Jail Constable position will need to undergo a physical test worth 50
marks, followed by a written test on the same day for all police units. It is
important for candidates to keep this in mind when filling out the online
application form.
2. The recruitment process for Jail Constable
includes a physical test first. Candidates who score at least 50% in the
Physical Efficiency Test will be shortlisted in a 1:10 ratio from the
advertised vacancies for each category. A 100-mark written test will then be
conducted, with candidates needing to achieve a minimum of 40% to pass. Those
who score below 40% will be disqualified.
3. The written examination
will take place on the same day across all police units. Candidates should take
this into consideration when completing the online application form.
4. A merit list will be prepared based on the
results of the physical and written tests. Only candidates in the provisional
selection list will have their original documents verified. Those found
eligible during document verification will be included in the final selection
list. The selection will be provisional, and the final merit list will be
prepared according to Government rules after combining the marks from both tests.
