Eligibility:

Candidates are required to possess a Masters Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University or a six-year integrated Post Graduate Masters course from a recognized Regional College of Education, with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade as stated in the official notification.

Additionally, a B.ED. or an equivalent degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, from a recognized University or Institution is also mandatory.

B.Ed. qualification is not required for PGT positions in Commerce, Education, Geology, Home Science, Logic and Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, IRPM, Telugu and Urdu subjects.

Age Limit: Minimum age requirement is 21 years and maximum age limit is 38 years.

Application Fee:

An unalterable fee of Rs.500/- is applicable for candidates falling under the Un-reserved /SEBC category, while candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and pwd categories are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/ only. This fee must be paid online during the submission of the online application.
