JRHMS, Community Health Officer (CHO), Recruitment 2024 of 865 Vacancies

Jharkhand Rural Health Mission Society invites application from eligible candidates for providing contractual services as Community Health Officer (CHO) for a period of one year under National Health Mission Jharkhand.

Details of the Backlog vacant positions, remuneration, and number of post, essential qualification are mentioned herein below:

Post Name: Community Health Officer

Total Post: 865 (UR-116, EWS-86, ST- 263, SC-273, BC-I-59, BC-II- 68)

Pay Scale: Selected candidates shall be awarded as CHO, and will be entitled for fixed remuneration of Rs. 25,000.00 per month and maximum Rs. 15,000.00 per month as performance-based incentive in accordance with relevant guidelines.

Essential Qualification:

B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc.(Nursing) with integrated Curriculum of certificate program in Community Health (CPCH) from any recognized Nursing colleges that have integrated curriculum and passed in or after academic year 2016-2020.

Age Limit:

Minimum 21 years -Age of the candidate will be as calculated, as of 1st January, 2024. Date of birth mentioned in matriculation certificate shall be treated as proof of date of births. No other document for the date of birth shall be accepted.

Unreserved & EWS-35 years, BC-1 & BC-II - 37 years

Female (Unreserved, BC-1 & BC-II) 38 ST/SC (Male & Female) 40

Age relaxation of 5 Years shall be given to Divyang (PH Candidates)

Candidates of Jharkhand state who are claiming reservation in their respective category (ST, SC, BC-I BC-II & EWS) have to submit the Caste Certificate/EWS Certificate in the prescribed format issued by competent authority of Jharkhand.

For Divyang candidates reservation rules and sports quota reservation rules will be followed as per circular of Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha, Govt of Jharkhand personnel.

General information and Instructions:

The initial contract period will be for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and requirement. Any claim for absorption in the regular position shall not be entertained in future.
The Society reserves the right to cancel any or all positions at any stage of recruitment process. Number of Vacant position may vary as per requirement.
iii. The Society will execute agreement for one year but the agreement may be terminated by any party with one month advance notice.

Reservation policy and general circular issued by Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha, Govt of Jharkhand issued from time to time will be applicable.

If at any stage of selection, it is found that candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria and/or that he/she has furnished incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. The decision of the Society in any matter relating to the selection at any stage of the selection process will be final and binding upon the candidates.

Selection process –

Selection will be done on merit basis, as certain by the scores obtained in the final B.Sc and Post Basic B.Sc theory and practical examination. Candidates have to obtained minimum number as below category.

(a) 40% for unreserved categories.

(b) 40% for EWS.

(d) 34% for BC-I.

(e) 32% for SC, ST and all category women applicants.

(f) 30% for PGT.

Jharkhand Nursing Council registration is must at the time of joining if the candidate doesn’t provide the Jharkhand Nursing Council registration certificate at the time of joining then s/he will be not eligible for the post.
